For maximum adjustability, our One Size Diapers have a lot of snaps! If you’ve used other one size diapers that snap down in the rise, our settings won’t be hard to figure out, but we know they can seem overwhelming if you’re new to cloth diapers.
You can see in the illustration below, our One Size Diaper completely unsnapped. Across the front panel are the “female” sockets that the “male” studs on the wings snap into, just like any other front snapping diaper. What’s different, are the extra snaps below those on the body of the diaper. Just under the row of “female” sockets, you’ll find 2 “male” studs, these are the Rise Snaps.
Below those, are two sets of “female” sockets, these are the Size Setting Snaps. As labeled, the Size Setting Snaps closest to the Rise Snaps are the snaps you’ll use for the Medium Size. The last set of Size Setting Snaps are the snaps you’ll use for the Small Size. To use the diaper on a larger baby or toddler, you’d ignore the Rise Snaps and the Size Setting Snaps and use the diaper as shown.

Using the Rise Snaps with the Size Setting Snaps is easy. Simply fold the front of the diaper down to snap the Rise Snaps into the Size Setting Snaps of your choice. The illustration below shows the snaps being snapped into the smallest Size Setting Snaps.

Once snapped, you’ll simply flip the top row of “female” sockets up so you can snap the wings into place around your baby.

Very Baby One Size Diapers have an extra wing snap, this helps prevent wing droop when you’ve got an active toddler running around without a cover. Snap the wing snaps in first, then snap the rest of the snaps on the wing. Experiment and see what fits your baby best.
